Volunteer Induction Checklist

The first priority for any new volunteer is to receive a full induction before they start their role. The aim of any induction should be to ensure that the volunteer understands expectations, the contribution they will make to the organisation’s goals and to ensure that they can fulfil their tasks safely and effectively. Next Steps

The Volunteer Coordinator will follow up on any actions agreed during this induction and send the Volunteer Handbook. It is important that the volunteer completes any necessary training and/or certification and keep the Volunteer Coordinator updated on progress.
